Tunnel House, Coates
Large pub in the middle of nowhere. Made for an interesting drive - especially the last bit up to the pub, which was certainly entertaining.
The pub itself had a nice atmosphere and two real fires. The was a nice garden outside which would be very pleasant in the sun. Dogs are allowed in the pub.
The pub had plenty of home-made pub grub (including a Carrot and Celeriac soup!). The beer was very nice. Despite the relatively small range of beer this was still a very good pub, well worth a trip - its a bit of a gem.
