One of the Wetherspoon chain of pubs the Moon Under Water is a huge barn of a place and, unlike most Wetherspoons pubs, was not a conversion but a custom built building.
The pub has the usual range of food, a nice balcony over looking the River Chelt and Sandford Park.
This pub is very very cheap, and has some good beers, but they aren't great all the time and there are too many nasty ones! It was good to see Wickwar beers and some Goffs on mind you.
It also stocks a good selection of real lagers including Zywiec and Kozel
There is a slight problem with this pub in that the playing of dominos is NOT ALLOWED. Pub Night were told that they had to stop playing dominos as it was not permitted. This was raised with CAMRA and Wetherspoons DENY that this is the case. 1

- 1 : Further research on this matter seem to indicate that it was manager with no brains as other Wetherspoons pubs would seem to have their own dominos sets, and even traditional games like Shut the Box
