Cracking pub a few miles from Oxford. It had old oak beams and a terrific ambience. There were two fires (not lit when we went) which would make it even better.
The food was absolutely brilliant - eat here and you'll understand. It also has four decent real ales.
The whole place oused with character - from the Salt and Pepper pots shaped like chess pieces through to the outside loos. Very well worth a visit.
