Horse & Groom, Belgravia

Small local hiding in a little Mews behind the giant square and opulence of Belgravia. Friendly place which ghave me a free sandwich. Served Shepherd Neame beers in good condition. There were about a dozen people in the pub which made it feel pretty full!

I had intended to go to the Star Tavern round the corner - aparently unspoilt, but was in fact shut for refurbishment (presumably they were busy spoiling it). The Horse & Groom was much better - it was open to start with. Also I didn't have to keep wandering past the German Embassy making the guards suspicious.

I liked this little pub
