Fox, Old Down

You can find this pub via two main ways. Firstly, you can do what we did and reach Old Down and then drive around in circles a lot until you eventually find the pub after much valuable drinking time has passed. Alternatively you can take the road towards Lower Hazel until you find a road called Inner Down - follow that and you reach the pub (the carpark is at the rear).

The pub itself has lots of old beams within a modernised environment, a real fire, and was generally light, warm and welocming. As well as having six beers it also had Moles Black Rat cider. Bottles of Rioja at less than a tenner were of appeal to half of the party...
