Greene King Ridleys Old Bob

iconic ale from Ridleys, now closed down and brewed instead by Greene King.  Tasted fine this time - and I'm sure would have made a nice lunchtime Bob 'n' Abbot.  How long I wonder before this ale undergoes the magical transformation only Greene King seem to apply and ruin it completely?
