Lovely little pub at the bottom of the Hardknott pass.  You'll need a drink after driving that road - its a bit of a challenge (but fine in your MX-5).  Has its own brewery on site and holds beer festivals every now and then.  Food is nice - if you want a really honest ploughmans with home made bread and local cheese, eat here.  As well as the interesting beers it offers interesting fruit juices, Fentimans bottles and Tyrrels crisps.
