A regular Pub Night venue with a good range of beers.

This pub suffered a blow on <nicedate>07/01/2006</nicedate> when at 10:58pm we tried to buy drinks and were told "We've locked the door, we've finished for the night". That was it - no telling people they were stopping serving, no notice anywhere indicating that they closed at 11pm on a Saturday

So they lost out on a round of drinks from us, and I saw someone else get turned away too.

However after a rather prolonged boycott of the pub by a small minority of pub night regulars sense won out and a rather good pub night was held in September. Both the [[Jouster]] and the [[Tribute]] were in fine form indeed. [[Doombar]] was also supposed to be on tap but the landlord was holding it back until the next day to allow it a little more time to reach perfection
